Woman in her 60s fighting for her life after being hit by a caravan

A woman in her 60s has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a detached caravan.

Emergency services were called at 2.20pm to Carson Mount, Sheffield, following reports a caravan had been involved in a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 69-year-old woman, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she remains.

It is understood that the caravan had become disconnected from the vehicle pulling it.
