Grieving parents still waiting for answers four years after daughter's death on school trip

It's the 4th anniversary of the death of 12-year-old Jessica Lawson from East Yorkshire, who drowned whilst on a school trip to France.

Jessica was among a group of 24 pupils and three teachers from Wolfreton School. They were at an activity centre in the Massif Central region when the pontoon they were playing on overturned.

The French investigation into what happened on that day is ongoing but no details have yet been made public. It has been an agonising wait for Jessica's parents, Brenda and Tonwy, who have now relocated to Portugal.

They spoke to Calendar from their home there and told us they have been completely abandoned by UK authorities. Fiona Dwyer reports.
