Youngsters on Cloud 9 as they take to the skies

A group of children have taken to the skies thanks to the generosity of pilots from Sherburn airfield.

The flying lessons are organised through the Douglas Bader Foundation - set up by Douglas Bader, a Battle of Britain pilot who refused to let the loss of both his legs prevent him from flying Spitfires during the Second World War.

Sarah Clark reports includes interviews with the young guests as well as with Keith Delderfield from the Douglas Bader Foundation and pilot Brian Riddington.
