Swedish defender Pontus Jansson leaves Leeds United

Leeds United have confirmed that Swedish defender Pontus Jansson has left the club to join fellow Sky Bet Championship side Brentford for an undisclosed fee.

Jansson initially joined United on loan in August 2016 from Italian side Torino, before signing permanently in 2017.

The centre-back went on to feature 120 times for club in all competitions scoring nine goals.
