Yorkshire Wildlife Trust sessions improving mental health through outdoor activities, while Dr Khan plants pepper
Getting outside is one way to help improve mental health, according to Dr Amir Khan who was back in the Calendar Veg Patch.
"Depression and anxiety can stem from social isolation," he says: "So getting outside with like-minded people is a great start to the road to recovery."
Dr Khan was speaking as he and Jon Mitchell recorded their latest despatch from the Calendar Veg Patch. In it, the pair planted pepper plants.

Meanwhile, Otis Holmes visited a session hosted by volunteers from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, on behalf of mental health organisation Doncaster Mind.
Kat Woolley said the outdoors activities, including making wooden mallets from natural resources, should help the participants grow in confidence, increase resilience, and make friends.
