A pensioner fears part of his home could collapse after a sinkhole appeared in his driveway.

Barry Brown, 80, from Kirkby-in-Ashfield in North Nottinghamshire discovered the one-metre wide hole after his wife noticed a paving slab was loose.

Mr Brown thinks it could cost thousands to fix the problem.

The Coal Authority and Severn Trent Water say it is not their responsibility.

And now his insurers say his policy doesn't cover the work because - so far - there's no evidence of damage to his home. Phil Brewster reports.
