A man from North Yorkshire has been banned from attending football matches for five years after being found guilty of racially abusing footballers.

Michael Collins from Richmond - who has a season ticket with Newcastle United - was spotted making racial gestures at Liverpool players during a match at Newcastle's St James' Park last month.

He has also been fined £550.
