Tuk Tuk drives into world record top spot

Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire has hosted a number of world record attempts over the years - but this has to be one of the more unusual.

Matt Everard has been attempting to break the record for the World's Fastest Tuk Tuk since buying the three-wheeler on an online auction site.

And now he has - with the souped up Bangkok taxi, with a 1300cc engine, reaching a speed of more than 74-miles-an-hour. That beats the previous record of 68mph.
