Sheffield City Region mayor Dan Jarvis unveils plans for transport network

Less than a week after the start of the Tour de Yorkshire, the Sheffield City Region mayor has been encouraging more people to get out on their bikes.

Dan Jarvis made the call as part of a conference held earlier, in which he set out his priorities for improving travel across the region.

He also promised to improve trams, busses, roads, railways and develop a zero-emissions public transport network.
