Woman suffers serious injuries in Bourne house fire

An investigation is underway after a woman suffered serious injuries in a house fire in Bourne.

The woman, in her 50s, was taken to hospital after the blaze on Recreation Road.

Emergency crews were called to the property around 9.14pm on Friday April 12.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact 101, quoting incident number 458 of April 12.
