Two men arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap three girls in Knaresborough

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempting to kidnap three girls in Knaresborough.

It happened on Monday March 11, on Half Crown Way when the girls aged between 10 and 12 years old, were approached by two men driving a silver van.

The girls, who were not hurt but left shaken, managed to seek help from a local resident who contacted the police.

A 19-year-old man and a 46-year-old man were arrested in Bradford. They remain in police custody at this time.
