Paul Chuckle has spoken of the support he received from a terminal illness charity during his brother's final days.

Barry Chuckle, real name Barry Elliot, died last summer, following a period of illness caused by bone cancer.

At the launch of this year's Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal, Paul said of the charity's nurses: "They do a magnificent job."

"When you're a child and you're poorly, you need your mum to hold your hand and comfort you. And to have someone there [during Barry's last days], that will do it daily, over and over again… it's a fabulous thing they do."

Paul wrote a message for his brother: "To you, Barry. Great brother, great comedian. Love and miss you, mate. Your bro, Paul."
