Leeds and Sheffield concerts off, as Professor Green cancels UK tour
Professor Green, the rapper, has been forced to cancel his UK tour – which included dates in Leeds (February 19) and Sheffield (February 20).
It was due to begin tonight with a gig at The Globe, in Cardiff.
But this morning, he fractured several vertebrae in his neck, having fallen. Explaining the accident on Instagram, he said it followed three seizures.
He wrote: "Depending on how you look at this fall I was extremely lucky.
"I've had two further seizures and am lucky I didn't break my neck."
And he promised fans he would return "in the winter with a bigger tour".
A spokesman said tickets for all dates of the tour are refundable at the point of purchase.
