Hull City reveal new club crest after consultation with fans
Hull City have today revealed its new club crest after fans were asked for their views on designs.
Plans to change the crest were announced last May.
The club then began seeking feedback from supporters, community voices and industry influencers over key elements of the design.
Over the course of the Club’s 114-year history there has been numerous versions of the Club crest.
The tiger’s head that was first used in the 1970s, has been a constant on the Club’s crest since 2001.
The biggest change comes with the reintroduction of the wording ‘Hull City’ which sits above the head.
The new crest will become active from the start of the 2019/20 season.
