The Home Secretary has said he thinks patrols of the coastline need to be extended beyond the channel after it emerged that a group of migrants managed to make it onshore in Lincolnshire.

The Home Office has confirmed four Iranian men landed near Huttoft in early December.

The four, aged 30, 29, and two aged 31, were arrested by officers in the Roman Bank area of Mablethorpe at around 7.30pm on December 4th.

It is believed they arrived by boat.
