Fernando Forestieri to stand trial

Sheffield Wednesday striker Fernando Forestieri is to stand trial in March after being involved in brawl following a pre-season friendly.

The incident took place after Wednesday's pre season game with Mansfield in July when a mass brawl broke out between players.

The Argentinian denied using threatening words and behaviour, and racially aggravated harassment, when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court, on Wednesday.

He's been given unconditional bail until the trial on March 28
