Mel B rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after ‘two broken ribs and a severed right hand’

The Leeds-born star Mel B has taken to social media to reveal that she has had an accident, resulting in a number of injuries.

The Spice Girl posted a photo of herself, wearing a blue hoodie with the word love with a rainbow above it, showing off a bright purple sling revealing that the she has not one, but two broken ribs, and a severed right hand, which needed emergency surgery.

Mel thanked the nurses, doctors and surgeons for the care she received at the hospital.

The injuries have forced her to cancel the New York City date of her book tour, but the star promised fans she will be back as soon as she can.
