Investigation continues after death of a nine-week-old baby in Barnsley

Enquiries into the death of a nine-week-old baby in Barnsley are continuing, as a 29-year-old man previously arrested in connection to the death is bailed.

On Friday 30th November, just before 8pm, emergency services were called to a house in the Barnsley area, after it was reported that the child was in cardiac arrest.

The baby remained in hospital for a number of days but died on Monday 3rd December.
