Yorkshire comic Paul Chuckle - one half of the famous Chuckle brothers of course - will step onto the pantomime stage tomorrow without his brother for the first time in more than fifty years.

They both should have been playing to a full house in Hull - but Paul pulled out of that panto when Barry died in August - saying it wouldn't be fair on those who had paid to see them as a double act.

Instead he's starring in Cinderella many miles away in Woking and opens tomorrow night - poignantly delivering both lines in their famous catchphrase - To me, to you.

Paul says it won't be easy performing without Barry but reckons it will work "just fine".

He's revealed how his brother is in his dreams most nights when he goes to sleep.

Chris Kiddey has been to see Paul in rehearsals.
