Tonight:Staying dry overnight with some long clear spells and light winds. Temperatures falling quickly with a widespread frost developing, locally sharp. Minimum Temperature minus 3 °C.

Tuesday:Frosty at first Tuesday, then dry but chilly with sunny spells, then turning increasingly cloudy through the afternoon. Heavy rain overnight with some snowfall possible over the northern Pennines. Maximum Temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:Rain clearing through Wednesday, then a dry, cold night. Breezy Thursday with further rain. Overnight rain clearing Friday morning, but strong winds expected with some scattered showers for a time.
