Investigation launched into crash between tram and car which left one person injured

South Yorkshire police has launched an investigation into the crash between a car and a tram which left one person injured.

It happened yesterday afternoon in Attercliffe and caused the suspension of tram services in the area. They have now fully re-opened.

The Rail Accident investigation bureau has been informed.

The accident happened at the same spot where a lorry and a tram collided last month.
