X Factor's Danny Tetley in the Calendar studio

Danny Tetley, the X Factor semi-finalist, has told ITV Calendar that he was "so appreciative of everything that happened."

He said one of the highlights was finally getting to sing in front of Simon Cowell.

The Bradford-born singer said: "To get through to the semi-finals of the show that I've been wanting to go for, for many, many years… I've gone past my goals."
