Teenager assaulted on Thirsk footpath

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 14 year old girl was assaulted as she walked along a footpath in Thirsk.

It happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday October 13 between Sowerby Road and Topcliffe Road, leading on to Holly Close.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, with medium length dark brown/black hair which was slightly receding and a thick dark beard. He was wearing dark clothing and white shoes.
