Family of schoolgirl killed 53 years ago make calls for new inquest
The family of a schoolgirl from Wakefield who was murdered in the 1960s have submitted an application to the attorney general calling for a new inquest into her death.
It is 53 years today that Elsie Frost was killed underneath a railway bridge. Her murderer was never caught, but police say the prime suspect was convicted child killer, Peter Pickering, who died earlier this year before he could be charged.
Elsie's brother and sister say a new inquest will give them the answers they have so far been denied.
