'Check before you travel', on sixth Saturday of Northern strikes
Northern railway staff from the RMT union will strike tomorrow, for the sixth consecutive Saturday.
The rail operator advises passengers to "plan carefully" ahead of the industrial action.
Northern says only 30 per cent of its services will run, with very few trains planned before 9am or after 6pm.
The action follows a long-running dispute over 'driver-only operation', which the RMT says is "safety critical".
Three further dates of strike action are expected: 6 October, 13 October and 20 October.
