Boy, 13, arrested after 100mph police chase in West Yorkshire

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested behind the wheel of a stolen car following a 100mph police chase in West Yorkshire.

Officers were responding to reports of a stolen Volkswagen Golf from a burglary in Shipley. The car was spotted in Keighley and pursued at 100mph to Bingley where it was stopped.

Detectives say two males were arrested at the scene, including the driver of the car, aged 13.

The boy cannot be identified because of his age.
