Police name woman who died in Otley collision

Police have released the identity of the woman who died in a collision in Otley on Monday.

Bridget Curzon, aged 85, from Otley, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision in Bridge Street which happened shortly before 11am.

She had been involved in a collision with a green DAF Tipper truck at the pedestrian crossing, near to the junction with Cattle Market Street.

The driver of the truck, a 55-year-old man, stopped at the scene and has been spoken to by officers.
