Four military medals stolen on Bridlington beach

Four military medals, a wallet, cash and clothes have been stolen from a man’s bag while he went swimming in the sea in Bridlington.

It happened near the Royal British Legion on the Promenade between 9.45 and 11.30am last Tuesday.

The victim left his bag on the beach near to a beach hut. When he returned, his belongings had been stolen.

The stolen medals are:

  • Northern Ireland Medal:Green and Purple. Regiment number 25183263 on the side.

  • Iraqi Medal: Black and Red stripes. Regiment number 25183263 on the side.

  • UN Medal: Navy Blue.

  • ACSM Medal: Green, Purple, and Orange.
