Paul carries coffin as hundreds mourn Barry Chuckle
Hundreds of people turned out on the streets of Rotherham today to say goodbye to comedian Barry Chuckle.
He died earlier this month from cancer at the age of 73, bringing an end to one of the country's longest-running double acts. Along with his brother Paul, the pair entertained generations, earning them hoardes of fans.
Paul was among those who carried the coffin into the New York Stadium for a private service, the ground being home to the brothers' beloved Rotherham United, of which they were honorary life presidents.
