Grimsby man charged with attempted child abduction

A man has appeared in court charged with the attempted abduction of a child in a Grimsby shopping centre.

Daniel McKiernan, 22, of no fixed abode, allegedly tried to abduct the child in Freshney Place on Friday.

The man appeared in Grimsby Crown Court today and has been remanded in custody.
