Major travel chaos after huge blaze at Shipley waste management site
More than 100 firefighters have been tackling a huge blaze at a waste management site in Shipley near Bradford.
At its height fifteen fire engines from across the region were called to the site on Canal Road in the early hours of Saturday August 11.
The fire is affecting travel with trains cancelled and roads closed. Commuters are being advised to check before travelling.
Residents living nearby have been advised to keep their windows and doors closed.
Around eight fire engines remain at the scene. No one has been injured.
