Man injured in drive-by shooting in Leeds
Police are appealing for information after a man was injured in what they believe was a drive-by shooting in Leeds.
Enquiries are ongoing today following the discharge in the early hours of this morning on Tong Road, Armley.
Officers are not linking the incident with a targeted fatal firearms discharge on Reginald Street, Chapeltown on Wednesday this week for which three persons have now been arrested.
Emergency services were called to Tong Road, Leeds at about 1.06am this morning to reports a man had received leg injuries in a shooting in the street.
Police and ambulance services attended the incident and a man was taken to hospital for treatment for none life threatening injuries.
It is believed the victim was injured after a weapon was discharged from a passing vehicle.
