Scott Taylor extends stay at Hull FC

Hull FC vice-captain Scott Taylor has signed a new five-year-deal with the club.

The new contract will keep the England international at the KCOM Stadium until the end of the 2023 season.

Taylor joined his hometown club back at the start of the 2016 season after spells at cross city rivals Hull Kingston Rovers, Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils.

The prop has already racked up 81 games so far for the Airlie Birds over the past two-and-a-half years.

The 27-year-old has also represented his country three times, including in the recent international test in Denver against New Zealand, and was re-named in Wayne Bennett’s training squad for the second stage of the season yesterday.
