Lambs shot dead with arrow in North Yorkshire

Police in North Yorkshire have launched an investigation after two lambs were shot dead with an arrow in fields near Richmond.

The incident is believed to have happened between Friday 22 June and Saturday 23 June.

Police say the two lambs were shot with an arrow from a recurve- or compound-type bow.

They were found dead in fields near to Ravensworth Castle, Ravensworth.
