Man, 20, 'critical' after stabbing in Hebden Bridge park

The 20-year-old was stabbed in the chest in Calder Holmes Park at Hebden Bridge at around 5.30pm yesterday (June 9th).

He was taken by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in a 'critical but stable condition'.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, have been arrested in connection with this incident and are currently in custody.

Police say there would have been a number of people around in the park at that time of day and they are appealing for witnesses.
