Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder signs contract extension
Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has extended his contract with the club by a further year.
The extra 12 months now takes Wilder's contract with the Blades to the end of the 2020/21 season.
Four members of the manager's backroom staff - assistant manager Alan Knill, goalkeeping coach Darren Ward, first team assistant coach Matt Prestridge and head of recruitment Paul Mitchell - have also agreed to the same contract extension.
Wilder joined the Bramall Lane club as manager in May 2016 before leading them to promotion from League One in 2017. Last season the club finished tenth in the Championship.
