A groundbreaking programme going behind-the-scenes at Leeds General Infirmary (LGI) will be broadcast live from the hospital on ITV from tonight.

A&E Live will be hosted by Davina McCall - with the presenter spending time at LGI's trauma unit over three nights.

The series is part of the 70th anniversary of the NHS with the aim being to highlight what really goes on in a busy A&E department.

A&E Live will be shown over the next three nights (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at 9pm on ITV1
