Police cordon off West Yorkshire street after 'medical' incident

Police have cordoned off a street in West Yorkshire after a schoolboy was reportedly found 'pouring with blood'.

Police swooped on Southway in Mirfield's London Park estate at around 8.30am this morning [April 18].

One eyewitness said a bloodied schoolboy was taken away from the scene by ambulance and the ambulance had a police escort.

An area outside approximately five houses has been cordoned off while emergency services are at the scene.

There appears to be medical supplies on the floor outside one house.

Uniformed police are carrying our door-to-door enquiries and the incident is ongoing.
