Thousands join one of biggest anti-Brexit rallies in north
Pro-EU campaigners from our region were taking part in what was described as one of the biggest rallies against Brexit in the north.
Thousands of people went on the Stop Brexit march through Leeds city centre. Crowds packed into Victoria Gardens near the Art Gallery for the protest.
It was organised by the Leeds for Europe group, which claims that a growing number of people want the government to think again about leaving the EU.
The event coincides with the one year anniversary of the triggering of Article 50.
