Ben Parkinson to sue Army over 'broken promises'
Ben Parkinson, Britain's most seriously injured soldier, is to sue the Army over his medical care.
Ben, from Doncaster, is still a serving soldier - he survived some of the worst-ever battlefield injuries in Afghanistan. The Lance Bombardier is still making a remarkable recovery.
But he and his family have faced an ongoing battle with the Ministry of Defence over the funding of his round-the-clock care. His mother, Diane, said they are now bringing legal action over years of 'broken promises.'
