Former Bradford Bulls hooker Scott Moore has been jailed for 23 months and banned from driving after assaulting three officers following a car chase.

The former Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers player had to be tasered six times before officers managed to restrain the 30 year old.

The assault came after a 150mph chase and an hour of fighting with Moore before he was finally restrained.

Incredible Dashcam released by Greater Manchester Police shows a Mercedes overtaking a lorry at around 100mph on a stretch of roadworks which had a speed limit of 30mph.

Before showing a foot chase where Moore is tasered by officers but still manages to avoid capture.

Officers told the court in Bolton that they had feared for their lives and had never experienced anything like what they encountered in all their years in the force.

One officer sustained a broken bone in his arm in the scuffle and needed two operations to repair the damage.
