Coastguard issue warning after 'tombstoning' rescue
The coastguard have issued a warning after a man 'tombstoned' off North Landing cliffs in Flamborough, East Yorkshire after being dared by his friends.
A rescue helicopter, coastguard rescue and Flamborough lifeboat called at 1:45pm after reports of a 20-year-old man from the North East had jumped into the water from the cliffs.
The man managed to escape with minor injuries, with the coastguard saying that he was lucky to be alive.
