A teenager who is facing the prospect of losing a leg after a string of unsuccessful operations to save it has scaled the UK's highest outdoor climbing wall.

Thomas Green, who is 14 and from Elland near Halifax, set himself the challenge to climb the 118-foot wall in Brighouse as he pursues his dream of becoming a paralympian. Victoria Whittam reports.
