Residents at Sheffield tower block to meet council over fire safety concerns

Residents at Sheffield's Hanover Tower are meeting with council officials again today for an update about its refurbishment.

Workers began removing cladding from the 16 storey building in Broomhall on Tuesday, after it failed a 'single element' of a fire safety tests.

The council has assured tenants it is safety to stay put.

It comes after at least 80 people were killed in a fire at Grenfell Tower in West London earlier this month.
