'Please help Charlotte': plea for daughter left motherless after terror attack
This weekend, families of the Manchester terror attack will travel back to the city for a benefit concert, headed by Ariana Grande.
Among the families will be Wendy Fawell's - a mother from Otley who was killed.
Her godson Kieran Harris today paid tribute to her:
''We used to go on holiday together, family parties, loads of get-togethers. Her son Adam was like a big brother to me. She used to pick me up from school, buy me ice cream, make my tea - she was so caring.
''We are all still in shock and want to do anything we can to help.''
Wendy leaves behind two children - Charlotte, who's 15, and her older brother Adam. Wendy had been standing in the foyer of the arena when the bomb went off. It was only because Charlotte misunderstood a text message that she wasn't in the same area as her mother during the attack.
Now, the teenager is being brought up by her older brother - who has had to temporarily give up his self-employed job in the aftermath of the attack.
Kieran has set up a Just Giving page here.
He says although the benefit concert will go towards families, he thinks families who've been injured will need more funds for their continuing care - so individual fundraising for Wendy's family is vital:
