Could Yorkshire's only runner Definitly Red claim Grand National glory?

Definitly Red – Yorkshire's only entrant in the Grand National – will have more than just jockey Danny Cook on his back at Aintree tomorrow.

As the bookmakers' joint 14-1 favourite for the race – which will be live on ITV with coverage starting at 2pm – he will also carry the weight of expectation and the hopes of a county.

Having won 10 of his 19 races – the latest at Doncaster last month in the Grimthorpe Chase, which is widely considered a trial ahead of the Grand National – his form is promising.

But his route to Aintree wasn't a smooth one. Trainer Brian Ellison had two Aintree-style fences built near to his yard in Malton, North Yorkshire to see if Red could clear the notoriously difficult jumps.
