Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner named manager of the month

Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner has been named the Championship Manager of the Month for February.

Wagner stayed true to his principles despite a dip in form around the turn of the year and gained his reward in February, with his side collecting 16 points from six games and earning deserved home wins over promotion rivals Brighton, Leeds and Reading.

Meanwhile Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp was named player of the month in the division.

February saw Sharp score five goals in as many games and included crucial strikes against automatic promotion rivals Scunthorpe and Bolton.
