Kaiser Chiefs to headline at Bingley Music Live festival

A second headline act has been revealed for this year’s Bingley Music Live festival.

The Kaiser Chiefs will be taking to the Myrtle Park stage on the Saturday night of the Bradford Council-run late summer festival on 1-3 September. They join Welsh indy rockers Manic Street Preachers who will headline on the Friday night.

The Kaiser Chiefs Formed in 2000 and stormed into prominence in 2005 with ‘I Predict a Riot’. Other hits include ‘Ruby’, which since its release in 2007, has sold over 461,000 copies. Their sixth studio album, ‘Stay Together’, released last year saw a change in direction for the band, moving from a new wave rock sound to a more dance-focused feel. The band is currently on an eight-date arena tour followed by some open air summer shows.

Tickets are now on sale and available from the festival website.
