Teenage boys remain in hospital after level crossing crash
Two teenage boys remain in hospital following a crash at a level crossing in Lincolnshire yesterday (March 2nd).
A 16-year-old boy is being treated at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and a 15-year-old boy at Lincoln County Hospital.
They were in a blue Vauxhall Corsa car, believed by police to have been stolen and which failed to stop for them, before colliding at the level crossing at Langworth. The accident did not involve a train but caused damage to barriers and a building. Train services were disrupted for a while.
Three other people in the car, an 18-year-old man and two women aged 18 and 19, all from South Yorkshire, have been arrested and are currently in custody.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission has been informed.
