Protest over Bassetlaw Hospital children's ward overnight closure

Campaigners gather in Worksop ahead of a protest march through thetown over the closure of the children's ward at Bassetlaw Hospitalthrough the night.

The closure means that children in the hospital are moved to other hospitals overnight, before being brought back to Bassetlaw in the morning.

The Trust says the decision to close the ward overnight is a result of staff shortages and for safety reasons. David Hirst reports.
